Questions about website monitoring
What is checked every day?
The home page (whether it loads and how fast, HTTPS and the certificate, indexing tags, title, description and the other technical basics), Google's speed test, a full Site Audit of your pages, your Authority Score and, when Search Console is connected, clicks, impressions and pages in Google. The report says what changed since the day before and what to fix next.
When does the report arrive?
At the end of the day in your website's own time zone (10 pm unless you choose another hour), by email and in your notifications. If the site stops answering, you're told within the hour, and again when it's back.
Do I have to prove the site is mine?
Yes. A website gets no checks or reports until you verify it through Search Console, a meta tag, a file or a DNS record, the same way Google does. Nothing on your site is ever changed.
Does the nightly audit use my monthly Site Audit scans?
No. The nightly audit of each watched website is separate from your monthly scans, and it appears in Site Audit with the others.
How many websites can I watch?
