Rankbist uses only the cookies it needs unless you choose otherwise. Here is every one we use, what it's for and how long it lasts.
01What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as browser storage and pixels, work in much the same way. We use the word “cookies” for all of them on this page.
02Your choice
When you first visit, the banner asks what you allow. Essential cookies are always on because the site can't work without them. Analytics and marketing cookies load only after you say yes, and until then Google's tags run in “consent mode” with storage denied. If you choose nothing, we only count an anonymous page view.
You can change your choice at any time: . Turning analytics off also deletes our visitor and visit ids from your browser.
03Categories
- Essential: sign-in, security, checkout and remembering your choices.
- Analytics: which pages and buttons are used, where visitors come from, and how the product is used, so we can improve it.
- Marketing: measuring which ads lead to sign-ups and subscriptions. We don't sell your data, and we don't show ads on Rankbist.

A provider only appears in your browser if we use it at the time and you allowed its category. Names are set by each provider and can change.
05Server-side events
With marketing consent, when you sign up or subscribe we may also tell Meta and Google about that event directly from our server, so the result is counted even when a browser blocks pixels. We send a one-way hash of your email address and a random event id, never your email address itself.
06Browser controls
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser's settings. Blocking essential storage will sign you out. More about how we use personal data is in the Privacy Policy.
