What you get from one test
Speed and technical basics decide whether people stay and whether Google trusts a page. Rankbist puts them next to the content check, so nothing is missed.

LiveIn Pro and Advanced
Two scores, never blended
Lighthouse answers “are the technical basics right and is the page fast?”. Rankbist answers “will this content rank and be trusted?”. Mixing them into one number would hide what each is telling you, so they stay separate.
Lighthouse can't judge content quality, keyword use or AI-sounding writing; Rankbist can. Rankbist doesn't simulate a page load; Lighthouse does. Using both covers each other's blind spots.
Rankbist's content check never waits for Lighthouse: if Google is slow or the page can't be tested, you still get your full result.
Questions about page speed and Lighthouse
Is this the real Google Lighthouse?
Yes. Rankbist runs Lighthouse through Google's own PageSpeed Insights service and shows the Lighthouse version and the time of the test with every result.
Why is the Lighthouse SEO score higher than Rankbist's score?
Lighthouse checks technical basics — a title, a meta description, crawlable links, image alt text — so most pages score high. Rankbist also scores the content itself: keywords, structure, readability and AI-writing patterns. The two are shown side by side, never blended, and problems both found are marked so you can fix those first.
What's the difference between Lighthouse and Core Web Vitals?
Lighthouse is a lab test: one simulated visit, run now. Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP and CLS) come from real Chrome visitors over the last 28 days, when Google has enough data for the page. Rankbist shows both.
Mobile or desktop?
Either. Switch between them on the result; each runs its own test. Google mostly ranks on the mobile version, so mobile is the default.
Does a test count against my limits?
Each new test uses one of your package's daily speed checks. Testing the same page on the same device again within an hour reuses the saved result for free, and a test that fails isn't counted.
Can I see whether my changes helped?
Yes. Every Lighthouse result is kept. The result shows the change since the last check — for example SEO 62 → 85 — and you can reopen any earlier test.
