Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Rankbist (“we”, “us”) for the use of the Rankbist website, dashboard, apps, browser extension, Google Docs add-on and WordPress plugin (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you accept them. If you use Rankbist for a company, you confirm you may accept these terms for it, and “you” means that company.

The Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Refund Policy and Acceptable Use Policy are part of these terms.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries about payments and handles returns. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms.

• You must be at least 16 and able to form a binding contract.
• Give accurate details, verify your email address, and keep your password and access tokens secret. You are responsible for what happens in your account, including by people you invite to a workspace.
• Tell us straight away at support@rankbist.com if you think someone else has used your account.
• One person per seat. Accounts and seats can't be shared or resold.

What you can use, and how much (for example checks a day, audits a month, tracked keywords or AI actions a month), depends on your package. The current packages are on the pricing page and in Plan & billing.

We keep improving Rankbist and may change features. When we change a package, additions reach everyone; reductions apply only to new subscribers, and your subscription keeps what it was sold with for as long as it continues.

• Paid packages renew automatically each month or year, at the interval you chose, until you cancel. Paddle charges your payment method at the start of each period.
• Prices include or add tax as shown at checkout, depending on where you are.
• Your price stays the same for as long as your subscription continues. If we raise prices, it applies to new subscriptions only.
• Upgrades take effect straight away; you pay the difference for the rest of the current period, shown before you confirm.
• Free trials, where offered, aren't charged until they end. Cancel before then and you pay nothing.
• If a payment fails, Paddle retries it. Paid features may pause until the payment succeeds.
• Cancel any time in Plan & billing; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds follow the Refund Policy.

You keep all rights to the content, data and websites you bring to Rankbist. You give us a limited licence to store and process them only to provide the Service to you, including sending text to AI providers for the AI features you use.

You confirm you have the right to submit that content and to audit, scan or track the websites you enter. Before a site audit you confirm you own the site or have permission; scanning a site without permission breaks these terms.

Rankbist combines rule-based checks with AI. AI output, including articles, fixes, titles and Brand Radar answers, can be wrong or incomplete. Review it before you publish, and make sure it is accurate and lawful for your use. Generated articles mark places where you need to add a source or a fact instead of inventing one.

Search numbers, positions and Authority Scores come from the sources named beside them (for example your Search Console, Bing, or the Common Crawl web graph) and some are samples or estimates. Nobody can guarantee rankings, traffic or revenue, and we don't.

You may use the output Rankbist produces for you, subject to these terms and any rights others have in the material you supplied.

Use Rankbist lawfully and as described in the Acceptable Use Policy. In short: no illegal or harmful content, no attacks on Rankbist or other sites, no scraping or reselling the Service, and no getting around package limits.

When you connect Google, Bing or other services, their own terms apply to your use of them, and you can disconnect at any time. We aren't responsible for services we don't control, or for changes they make that affect what Rankbist can show.

Rankbist, its software, scoring engine, design and brand belong to us or our licensors. While your account is in good standing you have a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service. Feedback you send us may be used freely to improve Rankbist.

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk, or where the law requires it. Where possible we tell you why first and give you a chance to fix it. A permanent ban for a serious breach ends any active subscription immediately.

After closure you can ask for an export of your data within 30 days, after which it is deleted as the Privacy Policy describes.

We work hard to keep Rankbist available and accurate, but the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we give no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose, beyond the promises written in these terms.

To the extent the law allows, neither of us is liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, rankings, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

If someone makes a claim against us because of content you submitted, sites you scanned without permission, or your breach of these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it. This doesn't apply to consumers where the law doesn't allow it.

We may update these terms. For significant changes we give account holders at least 14 days' notice by email or in the dashboard before they take effect. If you don't agree, you can cancel before then; continuing to use Rankbist after that means you accept them.

These terms are governed by the laws of the country where we are registered, and disputes are decided by the courts of that country. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and may bring a claim there. Please talk to us first at legal@rankbist.com; most problems are solved quickly that way.

• If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
• Not enforcing a right straight away doesn't mean we give it up.
• You may not transfer this agreement without our consent; we may transfer it with the business.
• Neither of us is responsible for delays caused by events outside reasonable control.
• These terms are the whole agreement between us about the Service.
