Checks and scores

What does Rankbist check?

Every check runs 28 tests in 8 categories: on-page SEO, metadata, content, structure, semantic coverage, readability, linking and AI-content quality. You get an overall score, a score per category and the number of issues in each.

Are the issue counts real?

Yes. The number you see is the number of tests your content failed. It is never rounded up or padded, and it is the same whichever package you are on.

What is the difference between pasting content and checking a URL?

Pasting checks a draft before it is published and can return ready-made fixes. A URL check fetches a page that is already live and scores what a visitor would read. Both use the same engine.

Does Rankbist tell me if text was written by AI?

No. It reports specific patterns, such as claims without a source or sentences that are all the same length. Nobody can reliably detect AI writing, so we don't claim to.

Packages and billing

What do I get for free?

The free package gives you a few checks a day with the overall score, every category score and the real number of issues in each category. The pricing page shows the current limit and everything else it includes.

What do paid packages add?

Depending on the package: every issue explained with how to fix it, ready-made fixes, AI rewrites, keyword research and Search Console rankings. The comparison table on the pricing page is generated from the live product, so it is always current.

Will my price or features change after I subscribe?

No. Price and feature changes only apply to new signups. Your subscription keeps the terms you signed up under. When we add something to your package, you get it too.

Can I move to a bigger package later?

Yes, from Plan & billing in your dashboard. You see exactly what Paddle will charge before you confirm: only the difference for the rest of your billing period. The new package is ready the moment you confirm, and if the payment doesn't go through, nothing changes.

How do I cancel?

From Plan & billing in your dashboard, in the billing portal. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.

Who handles payments?

Paddle, our payment provider and merchant of record. Rankbist never sees or stores your card details.

Privacy and data

Who can see my reports?

Only you. A report can be opened by the account that created it and nobody else.

What access does the Search Console connection have?

Read-only access to the sites you have verified. The token is stored encrypted and you can disconnect at any time.

Is my content used to train AI models?

Rankbist does not train models on your content. When you ask for an AI fix, the relevant text is sent to our AI provider to produce that fix.

The article generator and what's coming

Does the article generator always reach the word count I ask for?

Yes. It writes section by section, counts the words and expands until the article is at least your minimum. If it can't get there, it stops, tells you, and nothing is taken from your monthly quota.

Will a generated article always score 90?

No, and the score is never adjusted to look better. 90 is the target. An image and a line of real first-hand experience can only come from you, so some articles finish slightly under until you add them.

Does Rankbist tell me if a claim in my article is false?

No. It flags claims a reader could not check, such as a number with no source or a study that isn't named, and marks them for you to review. It does not know whether they are true.

Why does Rankbist show search volume as a range?

Google volumes come from Google Ads Keyword Planner, which gives estimates of average monthly searches. Showing 1K–10K is honest about that; showing an exact figure would not be. Keywords Explorer can also show Bing's own search counts, always labelled as Bing only.

How does Brand Radar work?

You choose the questions your buyers ask and up to five competitors. Once a week the questions are sent to AI answer engines through their official APIs, and each answer is checked: does it name you, does it cite your site as a source, and which competitors does it mention? You see rates such as “mentioned in 9 of 24 answers”, the questions where only competitors appear, and the weekly trend. It is a sample: AI answers vary, so the trend matters more than any single number.

Where does the backlink data come from?

From Common Crawl's open web graph: links between millions of domains, published every few months. The Authority Score (0–100) is our own scale of a domain's place in that graph. It is a large sample of the web, not every link, and every screen says so. A domain the crawl didn't reach is shown as “not in the graph”, never as zero.

How does Rank Tracker get positions?

From your own Google Search Console: Google's average position for everyone who saw your page, not a single scraped search. Rankbist stores every day for the keywords you track, so your history keeps growing after Google's 16-month window.

Is the keyword difficulty score based on backlinks?

No. The difficulty estimate comes from the competitor pages you supply: how deep, well structured and trustworthy they are. It is labelled as an estimate. Link data lives in Site Explorer and Backlinks.

Will Rankbist change my website by itself?

No. The fix agent only drafts fixes and puts them in a queue. Nothing changes until you approve a fix, and then only when you apply it yourself or press Apply in the WordPress plugin.

Can Rankbist scan my whole site?

Yes, on every package: Start for free includes one 25-page audit a month. It reads your sitemap and follows your links, obeys robots.txt and waits between requests, and you confirm you own the site or may scan it. Each package has a number of audits a month and a page limit per audit.

Does a site scan slow my site down?

It is built not to. It reads one page at a time and waits between requests: the delay your robots.txt asks for, or half a second if it doesn't say.

Creator Studio

What is Creator Studio?

An SEO engine for video creators. It shows what your audience is searching for, writes titles, descriptions, chapters and tags from real search data, finds topics rising in your niche, and turns a long video into short videos with captions, so more people find your videos and follow you.

Does it work for any video platform?

Yes. Short videos come in vertical, square or portrait shapes with one title, caption and hashtag set that works wherever you post them. The long video gets a title, description, chapters and tags.

Which languages does Creator Studio support?

Bengali, English and Hindi. Captions are written in the language's own script, and English words people say in English stay in English letters.

Do I have to upload my whole video?

No. Your browser makes a small, low-resolution copy and only that copy is analysed. The short videos are made from your original file on your own computer, in full quality, and results are deleted after a few hours.

Is Creator Studio included in my package?

Yes, in every package, including Start for free with one video to try. Paid packages add more videos a month, longer videos and unlimited keyword and idea research; Pro and Advanced remove the small watermark.
